Who can become a member of AMRA?

Membership of AMRA is conducted by the Federal Association through its Registrar, and is open to everyone 10 years of age or over and is available as Senior, Student or Family.

  • Senior is full membership.
  • Student membership covers those attending secondary education up to 19 years of age. Students at university, colleges, TAFE etc are required to pay for full Senior membership.
  • Family membership is available only to the spouse of a senior member and to children of a Senior member who would otherwise be entitled to their own Student membership.

How do I join AMRA?

The membership application form is on the Association's Federal website as a PDF file. This can be printed out — you can even fill it in online — and sent with the correct subscription and joining fee to:

Federal Registrar
AMRA Incorporated
PO Box 429
Moorebank 1875

Subscriptions

All subscriptions are due and payable by 1st September each year. Senior and student members joining in March or later each year pay a reduced initial subscription.

The once-only joining fee covers initial administration costs as follows:

  • New Family members (joining fee $3.00) receive a membership card and badge.
